About ComputerDealer.us

Used, refurbished and off-lease computers can be good value, and listings are written by the people selling them. The Deal Checker turns what a listing says into plain answers: which processor that is and roughly when it came out, whether Microsoft's Windows 11 processor rules cover it, whether its operating system still gets security fixes, what is missing or worn, and what to ask before you pay.

It works from published rules only, and it shows its sources. It does not sell computers, take listings, pass on your details or earn commission from sellers. It does not say a price is fair, because no honest tool can without seeing the computer and the market that day.

The Deal Checker is free. Deal Checker Pass ($1.95 a month or $19.50 a year) pays for the bigger shortlist and side-by-side compare. The public pages also carry one labelled banner ad from AdEngine, the small ad network run by WeldonPC, which sets no cookies; shortlist pages carry none (see Privacy). ComputerDealer.us is run by WeldonPC.com.
