What the check covers

Three things a listing rarely tells you plainly.

The processor, decoded

"i5-7300U", "Ryzen 5 3500U", "Celeron N4020": which maker, which generation, about when it came out, and whether it is on Microsoft's Windows 11 processor list.

The dates that matter

Windows 10 support ended October 14, 2025. Chromebooks stop updating on a published date. Intel Macs are near the end of new macOS releases. The check says which applies.

The questions to ask

Firmware password, company device management, Activation Lock, battery report, returns, serial number: written for that listing, ready to paste into a message.
